Condolence: Rick you were a forever friend and we will always continue to remember all the good times we shared with you. You have moved through our family for so many years, hard to imagine you not being here. Thank you for introducing us to Ridgefield, our home for 32 years. You included us in so many of the community events you organized, races, picnics & meeting wonderful new friends, thank you Rick. Thanks to you for helping Ron in our business, he loved playing golf with you & your funny stories. Driving our family & friends to places with care, humor and punctuality...I was never ready, will never be the same without you. We will remember you Rick as our trusted family friend who was always there for us & those who knew him. Thank you for being in our life, we love you and cherish what we had with you. Rest Rick, we will miss you in our life.

Condolence From: Kathy Barry
Condolence: Rick's contribution's to the community and to my life can not be explained. My life and many others would not be complete without his determinations and commentment. Most if not all of my friends originated from the running club and it only was because Rick not only part founded the club but kept it going for over 40 years. I think back on all the races we trained for and traveled to over the years that brings back so many beautiful memories. Not to say he was perfect, when he was organizing an event it was always known that he would expect us to arrive long before the event started. But that was his way, and it was the BEST. God now has your hand to take you home to a place you can begin another running club. Sign me up !! Love Kathy Barry

Condolence: Rick

Big man,big feet, but a real Big Heart. I have had the pleasure for over 35 years to call Rick my friend. He was my partner in business, my chauffer for me and my family, we were close as brothers and I considered him family. Its because of Rick we moved to Ridgefield. Its because of Rick we joined Wolfpit Running Club. Tina and I ran and volunteered many of Ricks races. When I started Race directing Rick was always there to volunteer and help me.
Rick has been my ambulance when he split my head open playing basketball. He and I ran against each other before we became old and had to stop running. He has always been there when my kids hurt themselves, and was my friend to check on Tina when I was away and she was really sick.
Rick was the most unselfish, dependable friend anyone could have.
I have so many memories playing golf, having him do his Elvis impersonations.
He new every line from Caddy Shack and would say them as we played golf.
I loved his sense of humor.
Rick was also the most ethical person I knew. I would call him Father Favier when he would tell me I was doing something wrong.
I am so glad that I talked to Rick and went to see him before we moved to Arizona. We shared conversations about life and family. He told me how much he appreciated Diane. He also told me he never thought he would have to depend on family and friends to live.
His illness was bad but Rick losing his independence was killing him.
We expressed our love for each other ,many times over the last couple of weeks.
I told him he was my brother and I truly loved him and thanked him for our friendship.
I felt so lucky that he told me how much he loved me too.
It was so hard to hear him not have a sense of humor anymore. Also to hear him so weak.
I will miss him very much
RIP love Ron,Tina,Jason and Leah
