I knew Ruth and Gordon at Orange Congregational Church. But my fondest memory of Ruth is that she became my mother's close friend the first day my mother moved to Maplewood and eased my mother's apprehensions of living there. Until the renovations, their units were next to each other on the second floor. Dear Ruth was always so nice to everyone. My condolences to all her family, Joan Moyher

I have a photo of Ruth holding hands with my Dad when she was about 3 years old. My Dad always called her Cousin Ruthie since they were cousins. He had great memories of her in their youth and talked to me about her many times. Cousin Ruthie continued to send me Christmas cards after my Dad passed away in 2011 which I greatly appreciated. I would like to thank Nancy for all her efforts in sharing cherished photos and info with me as well as my relatives over the years. I will always remember Cousin Ruthie through my Dad - they are now together again. Please accept my most sincere condolences during this sad time.

I know Ruth from Dr Ken Yanigasawa office, Im a medical assistant, she would come with her daughter, she would put such a smile on my face. She reminded me of this lady who was like my grandmother growing up, I just loved her. Ruth's smile would bright up the room and she was just so cute. I remember her daughter sharing stories of the rides they would take after they left our office, Ruth loved her milk shakes. I wish I got to see you more often, I wasn't going to the milford office anymore. I missed seeing you, but you will be in my heart. God bless you rose, be at peace. Lillian
